John Juenger was first son and died in childhood. Nellie May and Ethie both died of typhoid at age 9 years and 18 months in 1914. They are both buried in the same grave. The flood on 1914 caused the outbreak of typhoid fever in the area. Mom used to say all of the kids were sick with typhoid. Jan told me that Aunt Nettie Mettleman brought mattresses to the family when they were flooded out. Another child, Norman Edgar also died in childhood.
