George and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Juenger were the parents of our Mother, Nettie Elizabeth Juenger. This is their marriage license dated 15 August 1901. George was 28 and Lizzie 21.

We never knew our grandparents as they both died before most of us were born....George in 1943 and Lizzie in 1936.

This is the death certificate of Lizzie.

Oliver born 27 September 1889 and died 13 July 1890, Pauline born 12 January
1891 and died 12 September 1918, Alvin born 19xx and died about 1949, Allen
born 1897 and died 19xx, and Lillian born 24 December 1892 and died 9
October 1984

Lizzie Juenger

George Juenger was born 19 Feb 1873 in Darmstadt, Washington County IL. He married Elizabeth August 15, 1901 at John's Church White County, IL. Charles and Maggie Renschler witnessed theri marriage. George died May 8, 1943. His mother's maiden name was Maria Stehl.

Elizabeth's maiden name was Renschler. Her father's name was Wilhelot Renschler and mother's name was Elizabeth Granlich. She was born June 6, 1877 in Posey County, IN. Lizzie died August 4,1936 at 59 years and 8 months old. Lizzie was buried August 6, 1936 at Burnt Prairie Cemetery.

Windmill Place where Juengers lived for 10-12 years.

Mocassin School about 1 mile from where the Juengers lived. Aunt Lil went to 7 and 8 grades there. Slop Out just south. That and the church and log homes close to each other...... all slop out of sugar.
